(More customer reviews)Sometimes, even Monsters need a break! When players join one eyed Mike Wazowski for a action packed game of bowling, they won't want to stop playing. The game also has great graphics and two difficulty settings-Scary and Horrifying.
In order to make a strike, you'll need to guide your ball. Obstacles such as ramps and pinball style bumpers are all over the bowling alley, so be careful! You can also collect cool power-ups, like one that can make your ball explode upon impact with the pins.
I had SO much fun while playing this thing, and I think anyone who liked the movie will have a blast with this. I really hope Disney will make arcade games as good as this one for some of their other movies, like "The Emporer's New Groove".

Earlyears Baby Farm Friends Bowling Review

(More customer reviews)This is a nice little set of plush animal bowling pins and a soft ball with which to knock them down. We purchased it when our youngest child was an infant (he's now 16 months) and his brother was a toddler set on throwing everything he could get his hands on. The soft aspect of the toys drew us to them, as did the different sounds, which would appeal to the baby. As it turns out, neither of them have ever really used it for the intended purpose - the older child (now 2.5 years) prefers body bowling over using the ball! He sets up some of the pins and then jumps off of the couch into the middle of them. I have only two complaints about the toys. First of all, they attract animal hair and other floor muck very easily and are difficult to clean. We have two dogs, and the pins often seem to have more dog hair on them than the dogs! Secondly, they can be hard for the kids to stand up on the carpet. After a few tries on his own, the 2 year old gets frustrated and walks away or, if he's in a bad mood, starts tossing them all over the living room. Ultimately, this is probably a set better suited to a pet-free household or a no/low pile carpet floor.

They originally wanted to buy a wii but not worth the money to them because they only like the bowling game. We bought this as an alternative for them. I just got it today and decided to test it out with my husband before we give it to them as a christmas gift. Set up was easy, add batteries, plug and play!!! No problems with the remote sync. We tested all the games and they were fun. I think my father-in-law will like the bowling game alot. I did press the sync button on the console by mistake thinking it was the power button and needed to re-sync the remote. I followed the instructions on the back of the console and had no problems. Overall, very easy, great for kids and adults. I would purchase again.

I couldn't believe how good he got at recognizing the letters and then finding them on the keypad. Of all the cartridges I've seen so far, this is hands-down the best. The letter game is incredibly education, while the bowling game is a blast for little ones, and the memory game is obviously working those little brains. We haven't checked out all of the other games on this cartridge yet, but I'm thrilled that we bought it. In fact, I have been a little unsure about the mobigo purchase--watching him play this game tonight, though, made me feel like it was definitely money well spent.

(More customer reviews)Every once in a while, a company manages to release a simple puzzle solving or trivia based PC game that hooks a dedicated fan base everywhere. The Incredible Machine series is one of those titles. The Even More Contraptions edition comes with approximately two hundred puzzles arranged in order of difficulty and an editor that allows you to make your own contraptions.
If you're not familiar with the Incredible Machine series, it's a layman mechanical engineer's dream. If you've ever watched a movie with a stereotypical nutty professor that has a contraption set up involving ten to twenty devices all reacting to each other in a "domino chain" to complete one simple task you already have an idea what the puzzles are like. In other words, a can opener with a can of tuna causing a cat to move which pulls a string that starts a fan which blows a wind chime that somehow turns on the TV. :D
That's how the puzzles are set up but many of the key components are left out and provided to the gamer to figure out how to get the device to work and complete the goals listed. Many times your solution is completely different from the given solution and the game doesn't limit your creativity. Over a hundred different pieces are including various gears, fire starting devices, animals, platforms, floating mechanisms, etc. Only a few picked by the original programmer are included in each puzzle but if you make your own puzzles you can pick from any device in the game.
There are also various websites set up by fans that allow you to download different creations. A fun game that you can keep coming back to as you attempt to complete the many puzzles provided.

The lights and sounds make it very exciting. Sometimes the scoring mechanism fails to register the points scored. But it really isn't a big deal, since it's all in fun. (More customer reviews)I was eager to play the game I spent hours as a child playing with my own boy, only to find that this inexpensive piece of plastic is not the same game. It is much smaller (both the unit and the beanbags), and extremely light weight. Unlike the game made in the 70s, the rollers have a hard time "rolling" because of their flimsy weight, and the overall size is so small you have to be very close or very accurate to play. I am sure it will get some use, but I doubt this version will attract the followers that the origional did.

Iplay 6 Pin Bowling Set Review

(More customer reviews)My two-year-old boy just had his second birthday and one of the gifts was an I-Play Six Pin Bowling Set. The tag says for three + years and I suspect that is true. We've set up the pins and showed him how to roll the ball, but it just doesn't work. If we give him the ball, he throws it, sometimes at the pins and sometimes elsewhere. I might mention that he's in a stage where he likes to throw other things also, sometimes over his shoulder.
In any case, the pins and the ball come in a nice clear plastic carrying case, which makes them easy to put away as a set. The brightly-colored pins are made of a soft foam rubber exterior, but they have a stiff inner core. The ball is foam rubber covered with three finger holes and has a pretty good heft to it. Neither the pins nor the ball will do any harm to interior furnishings unless they are thrown and knock something over, a distinct possibility with our boy in his present state. It's a potentially nice little toy. I expect we'll put it away for a while and then reintroduce it.
