I've bowled several games with them now and they've worked pretty well for me, most of the time. There are times when I have trouble with the slide and even hit a spot where the shoe just stuck to the lane like glue, making me lose my balance and fall. I've taken to using powder on the sole and heel of the slider shoe, but that hasn't really been the solution to the problem on some lanes that tend to be sticky. Perhaps there is a way to condition the sole of the shoe to slide better, but I don't know what that would be.
