(More customer reviews)So after getting the shoe, I made sure to use it soon while I was getting serious into bowling more often. At first i wasn't used to so much sliding so that took a bit to get used to. The size is true to typical shoe size and fits quite comfortably. I typically need a wide shoe but it fits quite with the typical shoe size. The sliding material starts to get dirty quickly but I have not yet felt any difference in the slide. The slide material is on both shoes so right or left handed bowlers can use them.
As a bowler: League, casual.
Bottom Line: Good overall buy.
Good shoe for beginning-intermediate bowlers for a relatively low price.

So if your buying a pair of BSI's order a size and a half smaller than you are because they won't return your shoe for you. I told them about this problem and they told me I was wrong. Which is retarded because I have the shoes to prove it. I am a 10 1/2 shoe size my friend is a 12 and he fits into the 10 1/2's I bought very comfortably. Not only this I talked to the guy who runs the bowling ally and he said "oh yeah. BSI's all run big"

He brought them to the pro shop at the lanes and they used a drummel and sandpaper to roughen them. He's bowled 6 games since and is just now able to bowl without being hesitant that he is going to slip and hurt himself. He says the shoes look great and the size is perfect. I would purchase another pair in the future, I would just be very careful breaking them in.
