Tom And Jerry Review

Tom And Jerry

This game is great fun for small children and mine who is six absolutely adores it! My son identifies with the characters from seeing them on TV and is kept entertained by this game for long lengths of time,he especially enjoys the chase. This is a good game for kids who are new to the gaming experience,it teaches them how to master the skills to play harder games on a more basic level. I was glad that I bought this game for my son who just began playing Playstation a few months ago;he found it fun even when he didn't suceed and learned with ease to correct his mistakes.By the way as far as the hitting factor in this game goes,I as a mother have no problem with it,I think that most children understand that its just a game just like they understand that the cartoon is just a cartoon. I don't believe that they are going to play this and then go out and try to suck each other up in vacuum cleaners,or swat each other with umbrellas. This game is just all about fun, plus as I mentioned a great skill sharpener for beginners, even if your an adult! Don't overlook this one, don't take it too seriously, just have fun.

TOM AND JERRY IN HOUSE TRAP is a madcap, interactive-cartoon romp in which you take on the role of Jerry the mouse. Your task is to race through 15 different levels in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, setting clever traps for the mischievous feline Tom. A special split-screen design allows you to keep a watchful eye on Tom and view your handiwork in action, while you continue on to the next challenge. There is a wide range of items available for your trap devising needs. For example, a bar of soap or strategically placed roller skate will set Tom sliding. Ironing boards, frying pans, and bowling balls make excellent skull boppers, and for that extra bite, a chomping lawn mower will do the trick every time. Never fear, it's not just trap setting on offer here. Jerry can also get up close and personal with Tom in some knock-down, drag-out fisticuffs.

Nicktoons Movin' Review

Nicktoons Movin'

"Movin" has many mini games that put you in the action (literally) with the PS2 EyeToy. Very innovative, very engaging. Not hard to set up.
Had tons of fun playing the games with friends and my children. It's fun to watch players waving, moving their arms to play the games.
I could see this taking over board games as the "go to" entertainment option when friends come over. For kids and grown ups with a sense of humor. NOTE: helps to have a well lit room to play in.

Ten Pin Alley Review

Ten Pin Alley
Average Reviews:

When I sold my PS1, ten pin alley was one of the few games I saved. My only regret is that you can't save your games (PS1 games)on the PS2 memory card.
This was a really great game. As other have mentioned, it was very realistic (even the sound effects were realistic). The characters were kinda funny, and there was an option to change the color of their skin, hair, clothes. The tournaments were alot of fun too. They even have the wierd retro bowling option for those who like glow in the dark, friday night bowling. This isn't just one of the best bowling games ever, it's also one of the best PS1 games. It's also a great game to play with friends
It's a shame that ASC went out of buisness in 2000. I wish somebody would buy the license to this game and publish a sequel on the PS2 and X-box

Ashes Cricket (2009) PS3 Review

Ashes Cricket (2009) PS3
Average Reviews:

well THE BIGGEST problem, game is not released to us or Canada, so i had to order it from UK. The game-play and graphics are second to none, i have never seen a game quite like The Ashes, graphics are similar to NBA 2K10, with players facial expressions and swatting. you pretty much can play all the shots like in a real game mid-on, off etc....the bowling is also realistic with drift, dusras spin. The one feature, i enjoy the most is the ability to change how old the pitch is, i.e one game old two games old etc. It supports trophies so you will have new trophy every time you complete a challenge in a game.
The game is good but needs a patch released for fielding glitches, its very difficult to catch a ball, believe me i have played over 50hrs of it. on my good day i am able to complete only 80% of all catches. its not fully licensed by all cricket boards, so they have purposely misspelled the names of all the counties players except Australia and England. I would expect product like it, to be fully licensed. sometimes its hard to hit the ball but i have realized once you have passed the learning curve it almost becomes second nature.
overall, the game is 9/10. i personally feel its a step in the right direction as far as cricket games are concerned for xbox, and ps3. yes even though this game is PAL, format it play with ps3 in united states, you have to make sure you are using HDMI cables and HDTV
