Earlyears Baby Farm Friends Bowling Review

Earlyears Baby Farm Friends Bowling
Average Reviews:

This is a nice little set of plush animal bowling pins and a soft ball with which to knock them down. We purchased it when our youngest child was an infant (he's now 16 months) and his brother was a toddler set on throwing everything he could get his hands on. The soft aspect of the toys drew us to them, as did the different sounds, which would appeal to the baby. As it turns out, neither of them have ever really used it for the intended purpose - the older child (now 2.5 years) prefers body bowling over using the ball! He sets up some of the pins and then jumps off of the couch into the middle of them. I have only two complaints about the toys. First of all, they attract animal hair and other floor muck very easily and are difficult to clean. We have two dogs, and the pins often seem to have more dog hair on them than the dogs! Secondly, they can be hard for the kids to stand up on the carpet. After a few tries on his own, the 2 year old gets frustrated and walks away or, if he's in a bad mood, starts tossing them all over the living room. Ultimately, this is probably a set better suited to a pet-free household or a no/low pile carpet floor.

Timeless Black / White Cross Woven Weave Snap Closure Leatherette Satchel Hobo Shoulder Bag Handbag Purse Review

Timeless Black / White Cross Woven Weave Snap Closure Leatherette Satchel Hobo Shoulder Bag Handbag Purse

Wasn't quite sure what to expect-thought this might be a big miss, but I was suprised. Ordered this bag because I loved the style. I wanted some structure (I need a rather large bag for everyday as Iam an urban commuter, and am sick of trying to dig my stuff out of a big slouchy bag.) I love a framed bag,the main compartment of this bag is easy to get to, frame opens big and wide, the hardware is nice looking, has a zip pocket and two slide pockets. The two outer pockets are nice and roomy and have magnetic closures. Plenty of room for me to keep my things organized and easy to access.
The black and white woven pattern concerned me,(I'm not a fan of stark white bags or loud patterns) but it's rather pretty and classic. This bag is structured enough to work with business attire and will also look great with jeans. Great for someone like me who wears alot of black, camel and red, etc.
It looks to be pretty well put together, and for an inexpensive bag, the rolled handles and stitching look quite sturdy. The only negtive is the bottom of the bag, although "hard" is a bit flimsy-it was folded into the bag for shipping purposes and had to be reshaped. The lining of the bag I received is also black, not grey as pictured. Overall, for the money I am pleased with with it and think it will make a cute, functional summer bag.

Timeless color of black and white never goes out of fashion. This versatile style fashion handbag is featured in rich leatherette and gets added dimension from cross pattern intricate detailing. Extraordinary shoulder purse with three separate compartments keeps your daily essentials organized. The two side compartments use a magnetic closure for lightning fast access to your necessities, while the middle main compartment is ornamented with lift snap closure and metal frame to add a little elegance. Middle compartment houses two flap pockets for your accessories and cell phone while a zippered wall pocket locks away your most valuable items. This delightfully woven leatherette satchel is so sophisticated yet it is simply paired with your everyday ensembles for all seasons. Nevertheless organization and style is easy to achieve with this well-structured hobo bag.

ZONE WIRELESS VIDEO GAME Review

ZONE WIRELESS VIDEO GAME
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got the product Just a day ago used! I had a fear that It might not work just looking at the review's on amazon I would have that feeling that a used one would blow up on me. Since so many people said they had problems just buying it off the shelf (zone also avalible at cvs pharmacy). when I open it up it came in it's original box it seem like they lost the A/V cords becuse they threw in some old x-box A/V cords in but it didnt matter I noticed it needed batteries for every Item you used No Instructions but it was easy to follow. Cheapy plastic parts so dont get too mad when you get beat by the fake tennis character Rodger federer lol.
*My opinion*
I thought it was pretty cool system it has some flaws low bit graphics (16 bit) and they should have had some kind of load up screen to introduce the company like any other system (even snes had a start up screen), when you start it up it just comes on. My second flaw they should have had some kind of health disclamer (like the wii) for people thats out of shape or have heart problems there wasn't one on the box mabey there was one on the instruction sheet if a person passes out they (zone) will be sued. my third flaw The selection screen is weak you have to use the select and start button for every thing you use there is not alot of use for the A/B buttons after you done with one game you cannot got back to the main menu to choose another game if you do you must have to press alot of buttons, you have to reset the system to start over.
THE GOOD
After all ther criticism there is a shimmer of good which lead me to 3 stars, The game play is great for a 16 bit motion system. I was real shocked and I got a real work out from using the system the tennis game is a good game but I would do the final match you will pass out playing the whole game. The boxing game was cool but I belive they should have used a second controller like the wii to use both arms, you only use one. Ping pong was nice more kid orenented but it was good. The golf game was good fustrating at times but it was great game, the bowling game was good a little slow moving on the screen but good and also the baseball game was just like the wii that gave me a good workout also. The only game I really wasn't a fan of was the soccer to difficult and I dont understand why you use hand motion for soccer they should have replace that with another game mabey a quarter back throw or a fencing game. The wireless motion was great I mean on point I give that a 8/10 they took their time on that one
CONCLUSION
Please I repeat Please dont compare this to the wii if you do you wont have no fun playing this system, it just a small knock off for people that can afford the wii price but want to experience the motion gaming frenzy like me. I think zone was smart on doing this I think they should have took their time on it more, and made better games but dont expect to get great quality for 20 bucks you get the quaility for the price. Makes a nice stocking stuffer for the upcoming holidays for your grandkids or niece and nephew not for your own kids (buy the wii for your kid cheapo's lol). Or its a good idea like for me thats a x-box 360 or ps3 owner and you really dont want to buy another system my cousin bought the wii and dont even play it he plays his x-box 360 so you will be wasting money doing that. But good motion sensonrs cheaply and quickly made I believe they did that to satisfy the wii fans a.s.a.p. that were wating for weeks and the wii will always be sold out. So its not a bad way to have fun and be active it's better than buying $50 push up bars.

This purse is engineered completely wrong. The handle attached to the top and the weak magnet and no zipper makes the purse fall completely open and everything can fall out if you are not paying attention. Does not matter what you put in the purse this happens. Completely useless.

Iplay 6 Pin Bowling Set Review

Iplay 6 Pin Bowling Set
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My two-year-old boy just had his second birthday and one of the gifts was an I-Play Six Pin Bowling Set. The tag says for three + years and I suspect that is true. We've set up the pins and showed him how to roll the ball, but it just doesn't work. If we give him the ball, he throws it, sometimes at the pins and sometimes elsewhere. I might mention that he's in a stage where he likes to throw other things also, sometimes over his shoulder.
In any case, the pins and the ball come in a nice clear plastic carrying case, which makes them easy to put away as a set. The brightly-colored pins are made of a soft foam rubber exterior, but they have a stiff inner core. The ball is foam rubber covered with three finger holes and has a pretty good heft to it. Neither the pins nor the ball will do any harm to interior furnishings unless they are thrown and knock something over, a distinct possibility with our boy in his present state. It's a potentially nice little toy. I expect we'll put it away for a while and then reintroduce it.

The Rejection Collection Vol. 2: The Cream of the Crap Review

The Rejection Collection Vol. 2: The Cream of the Crap
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Barely a year after Matthew Diffee offered us "The Rejection Collection", (cartoons that never made it into the New Yorker) he's back with another load of hysterical rejects. After an engaging introduction describing the life of any given cartoonist, off we go into the nether world of cartoons that might have, could have or even should have been included in the magazine. Not to worry, this is like getting several free editions of the New Yorker, minus the editors' scissors.
Volume Two also includes a quirky questionnaire given to contributing cartoonists. What an odd lot! It's like the "Jeopardy!" interview portion of the game, but this time cartoonists are given more free time to reflect on topics like "what do you hate drawing?" or "have you mooned or been mooned more often in your life?" Hey, it beats having a real job anyday!
Diffee also gives ten reasons why certain cartoons are rejected...a plausible addition to this volume. (It may also be a guideline to those of us who have often contributed to the New Yorker's cartoon caption contest and found our own rejection many times over) All in all, it's the cartoons, themselves, which 'sell' "The Rejection Collection", Volume Two. It's nice to know that they've found a home in our home, if not in the magazine, itself. I highly recommend this latest contribution by author Diffee....published in time for the holidays, this would make a great present!

Each week The New Yorker receives more than five hundred submissions from its regular cartoonists, who are all vying for one of the twenty coveted spots in the magazine. So what happens to the 75 percent of cartoons that don't make the cut? Some go back in a drawer, others go up on the refrigerator or into the filing cabinet...but the very best of all the rejects can be found right here in these pages. The Rejection Collection Vol. 2: The Cream of the Crap is the ultimate scrap heap of creative misfires -- from the lowbrow and the dirty to the politically incorrect and the weird, these rejects represent the best of the worst...in the best possible sense of the word. Handpicked by editor Matthew Diffee, these hilarious cartoons are accompanied by handwritten questionnaires and photographed self-portraits, providing a rare glimpse into the minds of the artists behind the rejection. With appendices that explore the top ten reasons why cartoons are rejected and examine the solitary nature of the job of cartooning -- plus a special bonus section of questions asked of and answered by cartoon editor Robert Mankoff -- this sequel to The Rejection Collection offers even deeper insight into the exercise in frustration, patience, and amusement that is being a New Yorker cartoonist. Warped, wicked, and wildly funny, The Rejection Collection Vol. 2 will appeal to every New Yorker fan -- and everyone with a taste for the absurd.--This text refers to the Kindle Edition edition.

My one year old son loves this game. Having enjoyed it since about six months of age, his passion for this toy has increased over the months. His hands are now big enough that he can put his fingers into the holes and he loves the noise the pins make when they fall down. Mom loves the variety of colors it offers and enjoys educating him while entertaining him!
