The book is divided into eight chapters with titles such as 'Flirting', 'Marriage', and 'Pleasure'. He uses the Christian symbol of the Church as the bride of Jesus and provides many personal and professional experiences to illustrate the meaning of living a passionate Christian life. It is primarily written as a resource for the clergy but as a layman I found it to be a wonderful guide to building a relationship with Jesus. The author effectively speaks to the reader in a way that shows his humanity. He seems to say, "I'm just like you" instead of "Here's why I'm better." This is a timely book for the church in the 21st century.
