There are many books out there on the techniques of Lean Six Sigma, but so few treat deployment and program implementation beyond a few statements on 'motherhood.' It's great to find a workbook that explains in plain language what has to be done and where the traps are; it's even better to read authors who have 'been there' and are able to provide both the tools to do the job and valuable insights into what really goes on. Vince Fayad personally led one of the most successful international Lean Six Sigma deployments in the last decade and knows perfectly what he is talking about; add to that his insight into human behavior during change and its cultural effects, and I find that this is a book that no change professional can do without.
