Stephanie's Special Summer is the story of thirteen-year-old Stephanie Martin, who is living the good life in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the only child of two career-minded parents, whose lives have drifted apart. Spending most of her free time with her much-loved mare, Princess, Stephanie is unaware of her parents' unhappiness, until one morning when she accidently overhears the strained discussion of an impending divorce.
