I wish I had this book when my mother first had her stroke seven years ago. I would have saved thousands of dollars, uncountable hours, and immeasurable suffering for her and myself. It is painful enough to watch your parents falter without suffering needlessly.
This book is full of resources from everything from hearing aides to health care, how to know when and how you should intervene, various types of home/nursing home care, how to avoid duplication or worse, and omission of services.
There are many books available for adult caregivers, but this is the one you absolutely must have.
