(More customer reviews)I have over twenty general ophthalmology texts in my personal library and this one caught my eye in the book shop due to it's kaleidoscopic trippy cover. The content, illustrations and general "feel" of the book are exceptional. Mr Bowling clearly commands encyclopedic knowledge of eye disease, and a vast amount of research was undertaken to make the book fully up to date and prevent it from "getting stale". I firmly urge anyone in the field of ophthalmology to purchase this tome, and even lay-people; after-all, there are almost twice as many eyes as there are human beings on earth.
