(More customer reviews)I happen to know Marilyn Freeman, she is my grandmother, and a great one at that. This is the first book that she has published in her career but I bet it won't be her last. This is a great book about twins that spend a summer with their grandma and have alot of laughs. Be sure to read it, cause when your done you'll want to go back and read it again, believe me, I've read it 3 times and I still cant get over it.

Twins, Amy and Allen are sure they'll have a boring vacation at Grandma's. They soon find out Grandma is anything but boring. Grandma is willing to join in with all their activities. She goes bowling, fishing, camping, skating and joins in on many other adventures. At the water park, Grandma finds herself at the top of a giant water slide and tries to talk her way back down the ladder. The children in line give her no choice but to slide down into the water. Grandma learns to ride a scooter and finds herself being chased by Bentley, a huge dog. At the circus, Grandma is chosen from the audience to join in the circus act. Grandma is talked into riding an elephant. Allen convinces Grandma to play on their softball team. The twins introduce Grandma to the world of computers. Grandma thinks surfing the web involves water. A day at the farm proves to be exciting when Grandma tries to ride a horse named Storm.Amy and Allen find the summer goes by too quickly. They can't believe the fun they had with Grandma. The summer is full of adventures. It's a summer Grandma, Amy and Allen will never forget.
