ECCO Men's Country Oxford Review

ECCO Men's Country Oxford
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have several pairs of Ecco dress and casual shoes. They are all very comfortable and none required a "break-in" period.
These shoes however, fall far short in the comfort category. The leather is very stiff and the sole and insole materials are also very rigid. These shoes are more like hiking boots than an everyday casual shoe. Also, they are too narrow and don't fit like other Eccos I have worn. I tried one size larger and that didn't work.
Needless to say, I returned these before wearing them outdoors because I didn't think they would get any better after "break-in."

Outstanding stable shoe, roomy forefoot that is supportive on sharp rocks, as well as a heel that doesn't slip. Getting both of those in one shoe has been a long standing problem for me. It is also quick to get in and out of.
I feel I made an excellent purchase!

Rockport Men's Astride Walking Shoe Review

Rockport Men's Astride Walking Shoe
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have worn these Astride shoes for 3 months and they are wearing out the sole at the heel and the inner back heel pad is coming apart. They are almost a half size larger than any other Rockport shoes I have worn.
They are well padded and have a wide toe so they feel quite comfortable (of course this may be due to the extra insoles needed to adjust the size problem). They are a very nice comfy shoe but not what I would call " a sturdy walking shoe'. I have worn Rockport World Tour Walkers for over 5 years and still prefer them for walking to the Astride.

This is a very nice shoe but it runs small across the top of the foot. My husband does not have a wide foot by any means, but we had to return these because they were too tight.

Dressy "tennis shoes". Don't have a lot of support, so do not expect to wear them all day long.
